Will a TKO win for David Haye over Wladimir Klitschko be for the better of boxing?

Yes because he is more marketable then Wlad he knows how to sell a fight and get casual fans interested. Also if he won then a Vitali fight would follow so there could be a true champion rather then each brother having a piece of the prize and never unify so the fan never get to see who is the no1 heavyweight.

I guess it would bring more media attention cause Haye is exciting, but I dunno how good it would be, that all depends on just how good Haye is.

    Thats a lie.

If Haye is so marketable why couldnt he sell out the Barrett fight when he was selling 2 for 1 tickets:huh

Plus i think you will find that it is the Klitschkos who are the better selling of the three fighters, not Haye.

People can't seem to handle seeing white guys on top in boxing. It's almost like they're brainwashed by the media that boxing is only good when black guys are dominating.

Race has nothing to do with it. The fact is that Haye's British, and Brits are the biggest ball-sucking fans in the sport of boxing period.

    Alot of 'em hate Calzaghe.

Here in America, the sheep can't accept the idea that white guys are capable of being any good.

Un-****ing-believable....the savior? more exciting? marketable?....why, because at any moment his ass could be knocked out? because he talks a lot of ****? if he was so marketable and knew how to sell a fight then this **** would be goin down in London...but its not cause of inexperience in that department

The world needs a chin check as to what should be the optimal ambassador of sport and role model of future generations

Wlad is far from perfect...we all are....but loosing the most dominant Heavyweight of the last six years, not to mention his other assets as a public figure, is not going to be better for boxing....removing even the smallest form of corruption in this nasty business of boxing would be 100 fold better

Actually, if he beats Wlad it'll be two credible wins. And that would also mean his chin held.
Granted, this might end up being a big if, but if he beats Wlad fair and square it'll be hard to deny him the credits he deserves.

Haye defeating Wlad would be better for boxing. Charisma and marketability aside (which I do believe Haye has a bit more of), the simple fact is that Wlad, with his brother holding another belt, prevents a unified, true, champ. Wlad's a good fighter and would be a good champion, but he is hindered because of his brother's belt holding status.

If Vitali would not have come back (or retires real soon), it would not matter; but the co-champion thing is stupid and lame. The only people who seem to want it are named Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko. One K-bro has got-to-go to help out boxing.

I actually think a David Haye victory would be because Haye has a more crowd pleasing mainstream style than Wladimir. I want Wladimir to win but a Haye victory is better for boxing's popularity.
