Hamed is still considered as one of Barreras best wins, I guess Barrera sucks too then seeing as a protected, over hyped joke is such an important name on his record atsch

I literally couldn't stand Hamed as a fighter and jumped for joy when Barrera slammed the jug eared **** into the ring post but Hamed was 27 when he took that fight, it's not like he pulled a Slappy Joe trick and waited until everyone else got old before he fought them is it? Incidentally Hamed could have fought Morales but took the Barrera fight because he felt (like most people did) that Barrera was robbed against Morales and was the tougher challenge. Even though I disliked him I thought he was right to fight Barrera for that reason.

 

Pathedict. Just more discrediting of a solid win... Peter was WBC champ when Vitali beat him. What Peter does AFTER that fight does not affect Vitali at all. To try and connect the two is a joke

 

Ali's record in his last 4 fights was 1W, 3Losses! Does that tarnish his previous wins / losses? Nope, different time, different fights. A very overweight, unmotivated, declawed Peter losing to a tubby Chambers says more about Peter's current mental state than anything.

I agree with you -- Peter was beat up by a rusty Vitali (in fact, he was broken down -- it was a school yard beatdown between a Grade 4 and Grade 7 student -- almost awful to watch).

Vitali beat the "champ" -- what more can you ask? Now he's trying to "avoid" fighting a pointless battle against poor Maskaev (who has already lost via KO 6 times in the past!!!). If Goofi beat him, surely Vitali will retire him.

Peter will never be the same after the night in Vitaly's arms. If he for instans met Wlad now, Peter would get KTFO.
