Does anyone know JCC Jr's fight time weight? He looks two divisions bigger than Cuello. Thoughts

The telecast did'nt mention fightnight weights, but my guess is that Jr. must have been a good 10 lbs heavier if not more than Cuello.

Chavez officially weighed 154 lbs.....my guess is that Chavez was at about 165 lbs.

Right he looked like a jacked up MW.

I don't know why they don't make the move to Middle. It's the weaker division compared to 154 (which is stacked with higher ranked, more talented prospects). He should just make the move.

I agree.....I've seen Jrs. recent fights and not only is he struggling to get to 154 lbs, but I've noticed the steam on his punches signifcantly diminishes late in the fight.

Jr. hurt Cuello in a few of the rounds where Jr. needed an extra gear to turn it up to, to finish it.....but it was'nt there, and I believe that his struggles to dehydrate himself to get to 154 lbs may have something to do with it.

Indeed. By round 5, you can see the tank just go completely empty. He has to rely on pitter pat and flashy but ineffective body work to take rounds where earlier in his career he'd just KO the guy in those stretches.

The bigger problem (bigger than weight) is the fact that there isn't one voice in his corner anymore. It's 4-5 guys screaming in his ear, all different advice and all in different tones. The only guy he listens to is someone who technically should be in the stands.

If JCC wants to be the head guy in his son's camp but then go for it. Otherwise he should be a supportive parent as far away from the ring as possible.

he looks a lot bigger than his opponent...but he has quickness. i agree pretty much around 163-165...he still needs to improve his lateral movements though
