our dog goes over to the wife's sisters house a lot...same street, just over the other side a bit...he plays a bit with her 4 year old son.
anyhoo..phone goes yesterday evening...wife's sister..wife answers..then says to me that our dog has just eaten the rabbit belonging to the sisters next door neighbour.
...and i better go over and sort things out as the feller wasn't happy about his now ex-rabbit.

so, i did what any right minded man would do...i argued with the wife and tried to make her go over

...but i lost the agument and had to grab my coat and the dogs lead and face the music...had to get my confrontational head on as i fully expected this feller to have a go, and it wouldnt be polite not to have a go back...

turns out the feller, and his wife, were ok about it..i offered to pay, but they refused...but as i was leaving they said that the rabbit had gone into the wife's sisters garden and thats when our dog pounced on him...i had presumed our dog had gone into their garden, this changed everything i thought, but i was on my way out the door and they were ok so i didnt make an issue of it...
but the way i see it is, its not really my dogs fault if the rabbit escaped into another garden that the dog was in.

anyhoo...i walked back to our house with the dog...and our conor, who's 8, on one side...and the wife's sisters lad, jack, who's 4, on the other side..
and there's humour to be found in everything...
conor said to me "what colour was the rabbit dad?"...and before i could answer, little jack said "he was all red when i seen him!!"

seriously though, it wasnt really our dogs fault if their rabbit escaped, was it ?

...back to the boxing....ronald hearns got sparked? was it a good fight or did he look bad and get sparked ??

I think i might yeah, got a few things to sort out this month and I'm seriously thinking about going up to the Rogan fight so if there's enough cash left in the kitty I'll head along to see the Cuban's and Spike.

I hope its not Sprott too, but who else in the Commonwealth is there??. Danny Williams is defending his British title on the 2nd of May, so that rules him out. :think
