Well, this thread really is quite spot-on in the sense a cheater like margarito can unify everyone who would otherwise have differing opinions. When you add into the equation the manner in which he (or his team) cheated, and the danger it put others in, it really turns your stomach. If we had "Floyd is ducking Margarito" threads daily for a two years, how much time does this warrant?

 

Not that I get involved in such threads, at least that particular issue would raise some debate. There is no debate here. It's just a pigeon hole for dirty mouthed posters repeating the same **** over and over. "Margarito is a ****ing cheater".

I think the evidence for previous cheating may be there as well. Cotto get's busted up but yet takes Shane's punches who is a much bigger puncher than Cheatarito. Clottey uses his gloves to block a lot of shots and get's busted hands. Cintron gets put down by a body shot and cries when the punch does not even look hard.

 

FIRST of all, I think it's disrespectful from your part to say that other fighters that train hard in the gym (at least hard enough to not have to put plaster in their gloves) don't have enough dedication , but that MARGO DOES??? Loading your gloves against a 37 years old underdog shows a complete lack of dedication .
SECOND, the issue here should not be wether he fights again or not, most of us would agree his ban should be for life. The issue here should be how much time he deserves in a dirty, filthy, rotten jail cell. I say anywhere from 10-15 years for attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon, not to mention fraud and a lethany of other charges. :fire

 

You mean to say it was not cement mix found in his gloves? In that case, we need to clarify that with a high percentage of members on the General Forum.

Likewise, my opinion would be the same if it was Floyd Mayweather jr.
