At 160 many. At 168 he is the king. AT 175 he isn't even top 10.

How you gon say he ain't top 10 at 175 today..I'd put him around 8...

At 168 he might do good if the weight don't bother him....but I think 168 has a lot of young fighters who could beat Roy..

I think he beats alotta fighters in the 160 class but he'd probably fight them at catch weights around 168-170....

None. There's never been a fighter who would beat him at 160 or 168.

Nobody, there may be greater legacies but that man in his prime was one of the most naturally gifted athletes I have ever seen.

Billy Conn was too slow to beat a peaking Roy...

Bob Foster on the other hand would shatter Roy's jaw with his lethal right hand.

Here are, offhand, the Middleweight fighters who, at their best over 12 and 15 rounds, I would've either favored, given even chances, or given a legitimate shot at beating Roy Jones at his 160 best (post first title bout against Hopkins):

Favor over 15: Carlos Monzon, Marvin Hagler

    Favor over 12: None

Even money over 15: Ray Robinson, Charley Burley, Ezzard Charles

Even money over 12: Carlos Monzon, Marvin Hagler, Ray Robinson, Charley Burley, Ezzard Charles

Legit chances over 15: Holman Williams, Lloyd Marshall, Eddie Booker, Marcel Cerdan

Legit chances over 12: Holman Williams, Lloyd Marshall, Eddie Booker, Marcel Cerdan, Michael Nunn

Here are the 168 (or thereabouts) fighters:

    Favor over 15: None

    Favor over 12: None

Even money over 15: Ezzard Charles

    Even money over 12: None

Legit chances over 15: Archie Moore, Lloyd Marshall

Legit chances over 12: Ezzard Charles, Archie Moore, Lloyd Marshall

    The Light Heavyweights:

Favor over 15: Ezzard Charles, Bob Foster, John Conteh, Michael Spinks, Floyd Patterson

Favor over 12: Bob Foster, Michael Spinks, Floyd Patterson

Even money over 15: Harold Johnson, Archie Moore, Matthew Saad Muhammad, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad

Even money over 12: Harold Johnson, Archie Moore, Matthew Saad Muhammad, John Conteh

Legit chances over 15: Marvin Johnson, Victor Galindez, Michael Moorer

160 - Possibly Hagler and Nunn at his best.

    168 - Nobody

175 - Spinks and Foster would brutally ko Jones. Dwight Muhamed Qawi would also stop Jones because of his power and non-stop pressure. Moore and Charles would also beat Jones. Actually, there are a quite a few fighters who could beat Jones at 175.

I'm afraid Qawi had nowhere near the reach or footspeed to get to Jones with any consistency.

and how could you possibly know anything about Stanley Ketchel and NOT know that this fight was fixed, and Ketchel tried to cheat with one big shot on a Johnson who wasn't expecting it?

Calzaghe would have at least pushed Jones Jr hard with his high-energy style, awkwardness and durability @168.

Between 160 and 175 during Roy's prime? I doubt anyone. I mean there are guys out there for sure who would have made it tough on Roy, Hagler for one at 160 but I don't see him combating Roy's speed. Calzaghe at 168 would have given Roy a little trouble but lets not forget RJJ had near inhuman power at 168. RJJ-Spinks at 175 would have been a good fight. Anyone before that time-frame I really can't comment on. But no one in my lifetime at those weights can I confidently say would have beaten Roy during his prime.
