Camacho would beat Hagler in a cocaine snorting contest.

Camacho would not beat Hagler. Hagler cut off the ring well and was only beaten by the great Sugar Ray Leonard when he was champ. Marvin would nail Hector clean and often and stop him about round 5.. It would be similar to Chavez/Camacho only that Marvin punches harder and would end it early. In a very boring fight. Hector is not the class of Marvin Hagler.

He's a pseudonym who comes on here and makes ridiculous fantasy fights.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was another guise of Jeff M/FINITO.

well hello there Smitty! Who's the nice young lady in your photo there?

By the way, Hector was in attendance at the Hagler-Hamsho rematch along with yours truly! Can you imagine 3 legends in the same building at one time?

Hector would beat the Marvin Hagler that lost (but really won nevertheless) against Ray Leonard. That Hagler was about as shot as you'll ever see a fighter.

Hector is overrated if you think that.

Imo leonard didn't beat hagler but that's besides the point. Styles make fights and its the speedy boxer types that troubled hagler. If camacho was a natural middleweight and possessed at least 80-85% percent of the speed that he did at lightweight he would give hagler major problems.

speedy boxers who were great could beat Hagler. Camacho is not ATG. He could not handle Tito or Delahoya or Chavez when he should have, if he had any way to beat Hagler he would have beaten them. That is like saying that boxers can beat Hagler, so Michael Olajide could have beaten Hagler. Camacho is an overrated fighter. The only times he did well was when he fought the good guys when they were in their 40s. When he fought good guys when he was the same age he lost. He could not beat Hagler. Hagler would destroy him.

A lot of ifs.. Camacho was not a natural middleweight so that takes him out of the equation. And even if he was the lightweight speed, he still would not beat Hagler. You are thinking about the Hagler who lost to Leonard fighting Camacho, who would still probably beat Camacho. Leonard was better than Camacho. Much greater. The Hagler who fought Hearns would break up Camacho. The Hearns who fought Hagler would knock out Hector in one or two. This whole thread is made possible by people who think because Hector beat Ray when Ray had not had a win in 10 years , that he could beat Hagler because Ray beat Hagler 10 years earlier. Ray in 1987 would easily have beaten Camacho. Ray in 1997 was washed up. Hagler would beat Camacho easily.

I'm not saying that camacho would definitely beat hagler if he was a natural middleweight. What i am saying, however, is that even though camacho doesn't classify as an all-time great that he could have caused problems for hagler, at least the camacho that was before the rosario fight.
