Do you think Margo had loaded gloves against Cotto?

From a boxing point of view, it gave me the best fight ive seen in a long time, and was one of my top ten fights of the year. I think he did load his gloves, again i reiterate somebody else's point, you wouldnt load them for a "past it" Mosley, as many of the media predicited. And not for a prime Miguel Cotto. Sadly.

It didn't matter, Cotto could not hurt him anyway, and Cotto was gassed by the 6th round. Margo still would have won.

Of course they're going to say that. To say anything else would make them look bad. But anyway, Margarito's loaded gloves against Mosley had very little to do with "wrapping materials." But rather an illegal knuckle pad smeared with plaster hidden inside of the handwraps. Whether or not the gauze were provided by the commission is irrelevant if someone is concealing a plaster smeared pad inside of their wraps.

They were also present in Margarito's locker room before the Mosley fight.

Nazim Richardson had no idea Margarito's gloves were loaded while watching one of his hands being wrapped. His problem was with tape being placed directly on Tony's skin. It wasn't until Margarito was ordered to have a hand rewrapped that an illegal pad became exposed. If Margarito was indeed loading his gloves against Cotto, it wouldn't have been exactly evident since the illegal pad would have been hidden within the wraps.

However, one attorney present at Margarito and Capitello's hearing, did attempt to introduce a picture of Tony's wraps following the Cotto fight, noting of similarities between them and the way he attempted to wrap his hands against Mosley.

It's just as likely to happen in Vegas as it is anywhere else.

Voted yes. While I think he could have I honestly can't say he did. Unless someone comes out and ask Capitello how long he has been wrapping hands that way then we will never know. Not just gonna sit here and claim he did without any real evidence to claim how his hands were wrapped ON THAT NIGHT.

I stand corrected. Maybe since its not sensational it didn't get the exposure of the newest findings. I do wonder how detailed they were in their statements however. Who signed the gloves, was he watching the whole time, was he experienced? They're aren't on trial so I guess they don't have to be so detailed. Is there a link to their official statement, or somewhere I could look?

My memory fails me for the exacts, but didn't Margarito's trainer claim that the illegal pads had been used before for something else? That's why they had blood on them at the time... but I just can't remember what exactly was said and I'm too lazy to look it up.

POOR guy. Just because he got caught this one time now some people dare to think he might have done it before....Margarito has already stated it... he's never done this before, even though he didn't even know Capetillo was putting this plaster in his wraps, but for sure he knows this was his first time.... Maybe Capetillo gave him his word, we just don't know... some people in here are very quick to judge, even with poor evidence, none of us were there, I mean, who's the CSAC to tell us?? BESIDES, what's so wrong with a little plaster on your gloves .... I guess Cotto is just a crybaby:lol:

If he knew about the loaded gloves, maybe.

If he genuinely didn't know (which I very, very seriously doubt), then definitely.
