What attributes does Calzaghe have that could allow him to beat a prime Jones? It's a stylistic nightmare for Joe. RJJ feasted on those types of guys.

But anyways...many fighters could beat a prime Jones at 175. Overrated there.

We are talking in all of boxing history. Jones best wins were Hopkins and Toney, neither by stoppage. Hopkins supporters claim he was green because of learning his craft while in prison, Toney advocates claim he had to starve himself to make weight and suffered for this reason. Guys like Haglar, Spinks, Charles, Foster, Monzon, Robinson, Leonard, Hearns, Greb, Tunney, and yes Calzaghe would be a handful for Jones, and I think more than one of them would beat him prime for prime.

thing is he won that fight . in the second fight he didn't have to lose anything and got caught by a hail mary punch. in the 3rd fight with tarver was fighting scared got hurt and when he had tarver hurt he was reluctant to try and finish him

Toney would always lose to Jones. Any weight. I hate excuses.

you ar e a fool if you think athletic ability has any thing to do with being a great boxer. you need heart ,determination, skills just to name a few other things.

wow.. I was with you there until you mentioned Calzaghe. What a drastic drop-off in talent, I had to rub my eyes-how the hell could anybody ever mention Calzaghe alongside those guys.
