the whole thing sucks. hopefully this november fight w/ aa actually happens. the ppv thing is a joke as well. i dunno if arum has a reason for it to be ppv...im sure boo, hermit and pipe wrenched know. i was hoping that aa's next fight would be on the undercard but there have been rumors that this aa/forrest fight is off. aa/forrest on the undercard would make it more easy for me to rationalize buying this thing.

    Exactly my answers.

Not quite as sorry as Calzaghe/Manfredo. But dangerously close.

I just wonder if the Hopkins loss spooked them into a couple of "get busy" level fights.

Mora couldn't punch at Jnr Middle, this is going to be ugly.

    WTF???

So the 2 best middleweights out there are both apparently fighting two light middleweights who both just fought each other??

at least AA is supposedly takin the winner out of Mora and Forrest.

    the fight sucks

Abraham/Forrest is off. Forrest is fighting Martinez, his mandatory. Abraham is fighting Lorenzo who lost to AA's last useless mandatory, and they are fighting in Germany. Abraham is not coming to the states.

Mora is not now, nor has he ever been, a light middle. He had 2 fights at 154. Pavlik also has 2 fights at 154. Does that make him a light middle? In the 2000 Olympic Trials Mora fought at the same weight as Pavlik and Taylor, he made his pro debut at 160, and he won the contender tournament at 160. Mora is an average sized middleweight. His two best wins at 160 came against guys who now fight at 168-175. However, Pavlik/Mora is a mismatch of epic proportions.

Pavlik/Abraham is in the works for November 7th at MSG. Neither guy is going to take any chances before that fight.

I hate these terrible PPV's, I'm always afraid I'm going to buy them. I never have except for the last one, I had pneumonia and couldn't get out of bed and I wasted $50 due to boredom.

Yep -- 3rd and 4th fights I think. KP has fought under and over 160 multiple times.

In a way we should be happy that KP and AA are fighting lame opponents mid-summer. Gives both guys a chance to come into an early winter date at their very best. And, we don't need any upsets or surprises.
