Just resume-wise id agree, and as a huge pavlik fan id agree... but i thought, ast least in the two fights ive seen him in (one of which was the abraham rematch against miranda) that arthur looked dangerous. and he took out miranda a lil faster than kelly. what am i not seeing about arthur? (i mean that sincerely, i dont know a ton about him)
This has been discussed ad nauseum. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=117262&highlight=pavlik/abraham:+closer
The thread I gave you the link for was probably the single best KP/AA thread we've ever had. Check it out.
Do you read threads, or just scroll to the end and say something stupid. Looks like a fairly even split to me.
I like Kelly cuz I think hes lanky enough to keep AA on the outside and he can pressure AA from the outside...AA isn't BHOP and he's not gonna school Kelly at all...As long as Kelly keeps the fight on the outside with hard punches thrown behind the double jab than I think he wins this fight!
Cuz pavlik has been in there with better competition than abraham. He beat taylor twice who was considered the best middleweight at the time.
Because Abraham takes time off during rounds, covers up and gives away points. He also seems to be going life and death with the 160 lb limit.
Did you notice how many times Simon split Arthur's guard, and snapped his head back with jabs? I'm asking because for a long time there was a legitimate debate over whether or not KP could splitt AA's guard with jabs. That debate is over now.
Depends on how many times he uses the jab. If he doubles up? No chance. But if he TRIPLES UP THE JAB then ho boy, Abraham is ****ed. Don't go off one fight with Simon to gauge that. I don't think Abraham's guard is untouchable..but I've seen enough of his fights to know that getting through it is easier said than done.
that was my big question. coz he looked very good offensively from what i saw. but who was his last fight? didnt it go the distance and he look a lil shite?
