It is irrelevant what anyone thinks. Margarito's every single performance is now tainted.

 

Williams is also about 6 inches taller than Cotto, much leaner in muscle-mass and probably physically tougher - that's fine. But you can se IN THAT FIGHT that Margo's punches were largely ineffective early on then seemed to gain force and impact as the fight continued.

Clottey's a hard ******* - I can't see anyone stopping him. Cotto's going to have his work cut out with that one.

Also, your final point is supposition. The CSAC watched the wraps being done and didn't check the pads. All we know is that a pad was inserted during the wrapping for the Mosley fight. Do we know that Margo's trainer didn't substitute the pads at the wrapping stage?

The empirical evidence says there was something wrong with that fight. Maybe Margo didn't realise, but it still taints the victories.

No proof he did, but to think this was the 1st and only time he has done it would be hard to agree with. You can't help but question EVERY fight now even if he says he didnt. Its SAD

 

An absurd statement such as this can only come from someone who doesn't know boxing history, and the great boxing rivalry that has been cultivated through the years between Mexican and Puerto Rican fighters. And the asinine remark made about " a 5'6 dwarf that got busted up by Zab Judah" must be from someone who if in fact saw the fight (Cotto/Judah) is either blind, or has no sense of reality!

lol thats the best you can come up with? hahaha, but you still didn't answer my question - how did CSAC not catch on to the illegal wraps? forget about Nevada but keep in mind - if the **** happened in California, it could've damn well have happened in Nevada and last i heard, Cotto's trainers were not watching the wraps being put on Margarito, it was the lawyer or somethin like that.

anyways, Freddy can you show me or guide me to where i can find information about Nevada supplying boxers their own wraps and stuff? i'm looking around at some of their regulations from 2008 - and it doesnt mention anything about hand wrapping, but it does say that gloves must be inspected by an official or the referee, but its making it seem like the fighter brings his own stuff......................

 

I can't prove he did and Noone will ever know for sure unless someone in his camp snitches BUT they already had blood stains on them this IMHO was not the first time he loaded his gloves.
