No one knows for sure. It's amazing that Cotto seems to be the only fighter still complaining about it. The fans and the media act like Cotto was the only one who fought Margo as well. Nobody seems to care that Cintron was beat like a rag doll twice against Margo, or that Clottey lost to him, or that Lujan almost lost a piece of his ear against Margo. Hell, Williams beat him but he still suffered a bad cut in the later part of that fight. That eye seems to cut in every fight now.

If your only loss came against a guy who very likely loaded his gloves which is felony assault with a deadly weapon you would be pissed too I'm not even a fan of his, I always thought he was overhyped BUT he has a legit beef IMO.

Cintron's only losses were against Margo as well. Clottey's only loss besides a DQ loss where he was well ahead on the scorecards was also against Margo. Cotto has no real evidence that Margarito did anything wrong in their fight. It does him no good to keep complaining about it. If he really wants to do something about it, he'll rematch Margo if Margo ever gets his liscense back.

Well stated...that is pure common sense...objectivity and fair reasoning.

One of Margo's sparring partners for the Mosley fight complained that Margo's hands felt unnaturally hard. Perhaps Margo started loading his gloves during training camp, perhaps his trainer used those wraps with another fighter, perhaps they only do this in California where they are buddy buddy witht he inspectors. The point is, there are a ton of possibilities. With no physical evidence, Cotto needs to move on. That loss is not going to get reversed.

again, Cotto is not saying his loss should be reversed or he is not crying. he's just stating that Margarito and Capetillo should be banned for life from boxing for attempting to cheat and he has every right to say it. its the low lives on ESB that create all this hype about Cotto whining and bitching.

No, it's Cotto himself who creates it by continuing to complain. Of course, his Kool-Aid drinking fans will never acknowledge this. To them, he can do no wrong. It's everyone else who has the problem. Anyone who dares lay any type of criticism on Cotto according to the Kool-Aid drinkers are haters, or low lives, or racist. I can understand why Cotto is upset. It's perfectly natural. However, the complaining does him no good. We know he feels, he needs to move on now.

where has he complained? show me when he's complained besides the one interview or newspaper quoting where all he said was "margarito put my health in danger and maybe others before me and he should be banned from boxing along with Capetillo" < maybe he didnt say it quite like that but its something like it...he has never said anything else besides that or complained. :bart

There's been multiple quotes from Cotto where he expresses anger or displeasure about the situation. I'm not going to go looking for old articles either. If you don't believe me, that's your problem.

cuz u dont have any...he has not complained, complaining would be something like "oh he cheated, i should have my win reversed". and um, have you ever heard of interviews and reports? MULTIPLE SOURCES show up and ask questions and each respective "source" reports their own **** and go look - he's said the same thing which is fighters lives may have been in danger and AM & Capetillo should be banned from boxing, never has he complained.

No, because I don't feel like searching for old articles everytime someone doesn't want to acknowledge the truth.

This would be an example of complaining. However, it is not the only manner in which he can complain.

Saying that his health was put at risk and saying the man should be banned for life is complaining. If you want to simply make up your own definitions than fine, be my guest. Just let me know that you intend on doing so so that I don't waste anytime replying to your posts.

you think you sound so intellectual but in reality - wtf would you have done if you believe you got cheated out of a fight? "oh, well congratulations to Margarito, he tore up my face real well and although i think he cheated, i don't really care, lets give him another opportunity so he can get back in the ring and continue making big bucks"
