Adamek is like a Polish Jerry Quarry. I've never seen a fighter take another fighter's best shots like that.

Is his style going to take a toll or will he be around for awhile?

He is much more talented than Jerry Quarry ever was, however.

I am a fan of Tomasz, and the man is at his peak right now.

But with all the wars he's had, and the ones that are yet to come, I think the answer to the question is no, unfortunately.

Adamek has 1-2 years left at his very peak, then another 1-2 years where he will be good but no longer elite. After that it's anyone's guess, but fighters with his style typically have a rather sharp drop-off in performance.

Still, Adamek has already built up an impressive resume, he's won titles in divisions 25 lbs apart, and with the right fights right now, he could become a lock for a first ballot spot in the HOF by 2010.

I think adamek might be one of those special breed of fighters who can take alot of punishments without showing ill effects for a long time.. He's taken alot of punishment from Paul Briggs a while ago and he's still going strong.. I remember in the first briggs fight he fought with a broken nose just pouring with blood yet he fought through and won...

**** yea... Adamek is the ****..

I quite like Adamek. Dont particularly like his style but hes got great heart, chin and power. He can rule the cruiserweight division for quite a while IMO

I'm not sure what to make of Adamek. I think a lot of people only remember the ending of Adamek vs Banks, which is a great memory for him and his fans. But it made a lot of people forget that Adamek didn't look so good in that fight, and I thought much of how that fight concluded was based on Banks kind of falling apart and Ademek doing what a good fighter does by capitalizing and getting him out of there.

Adamek didn't really look to be breaking him down with bodyshots or effective aggression, but Banks just wilted after about 7 rounds. He looked awesome once he got Banks in trouble, and finished like a true champ, but most of that fight before that point had me wondering if Adamek had already started to show some ill effects of all the recent tough fights. And maybe it was just an off night before that final round, who knows.

he'll be elite for another couple years top. i think if the b-hop fight goes down he'll lose his titles though and I can see cunningham fighting smarter and winning the rematch with superior boxing skills if he doesn't get suckered into a war like last time.

I saw all i needed to see when he beat Briggs.

how long he lasts - as long as his motivation to stand there does
