Ever heard of the saying "a good big man beats a good little man" you could use it in this case as well with both guys being past there primes. Tito never fought above 165 while Roy ventured at HW and won a title. A past his prime Roy was still better then a past his prime Tito. I.E Roy was still winning fights while Tito was eating plenty of rice and beans in PR.
please let this happen Roy would get his Glass Jaw shattered in brutal fashion and the excuses will then fly from his nuthuggers.
I don't get this logic to be honest. Is Adamek the kind of guy who'd rather chase a payday? I get the idea he's a "chase the challenge"/legacy kind of guy. Keeping that great run of stiff young top-rated competition going as long as possible would seem to make more sense toward that end than cashing in to beat up on the children of the '60s.
I would LOVE to watch Adamek beat the **** out of that fraud Roy Jones, but it ain't gonna happen. Hopkins actually does fight the best, whereas Roy has always chosen the path of least resistance. Adamek would OWN Jones. Fact. :smoke

Big deal. Everyone wants to fight Adamek cause they know they can make money off of him. All you guys in the Johnson thread saying how he has "balls" Dude please. Everyone is doing it. Byrd,Jones, Johnson, Hopkins, its just stupid lolz. If anything Hopkins would be nice, but the others can **** off.
IMO this is a very bad match-up for Roy at this point of his career. The fact that Adamek has a very, very good chin, and Roy's power has declined, he would walk through Roy's punches and find a way to catch him. Yes, Adamek is slow but add to the fact that Roy's reflexes or stamina are not what they were and his suspect chin spells disaster.
How the HELL do a undersized and heavily declined Trinidad, and Sheika (I won't even go into that one!) count as great victories? No, seriously, I want to ****ing know...
I'd be up for it. Any big money fight, being Jones, Hops, or to a lesser extent Johnson or Tarver (lol) would open up so many doors for Adamek (getting on HBO, Dawson rematch, unification fights, etc). And 3 of these have already called him out.
Lets keep it in perspective, how many shot ATG has Adamek on his record so far ... none, since winning LHW WBC title he was mostly in the ring with rather young and top level guys (with a one or two exceptions) ... let him to whoop single ATG legend for a change since he have finally such an opportunity.
