Its good stuff. I particularly like the fact that Benn seems to be taking more interest in Blue than he does Tibbs. Quality moment :deal

Not only has my Duran - Palomino story been shot down in flames, it now seems a waste of time hauling out my "Brian London ruffled my hair when I was a kid and offered to twat my dad" anecdote....some people have all the ****ing luck. Good stuff Neil :good

Sorry Pal. You love me really.
Good one Neil. I too tried to blagg my way to the changing rooms that night without success. But got Kerry Kays to get ricky to sign my program with a get well message for my dad,who would of been at the fight, but was suffering from cancer. He came back with it signed not only by ricky but DLH and Barrera as well.Gave my dad a great boost.Wife came with me and that Shepherd fella gave her a boost as well, she never shut up about him for a week.
Whos the garry Neil? I used to know a Gary Hibbert, any relation? fought on the same bill as him couple of times, but he was from oldham.

I was having a drink in the Thomas a Becket pub in '81(?) when I heard a commotion upstairs.
Told the guv'nor to tell 'em to shut the f*** up while I was enjoying my pint of Tennents Extra.
Anyway, racket carried on, so I marched up the stairs and ***** slapped the noisy mofo who'd been skipping like a ***** and shadow boxing for the last half hour.
Marvelous Marvin apologised and promised not to do it again.
Returned to my beer and bag of smokey bacon flavoured crisps and didn't hear so much as a peep from the bald domed one thereafter.
Reckon poor old Alan Minter paid the price 4 nights later......
