It's outlandish, delusional posts like this that are the reason I'm always seemingly criticising Cotto. Newsflash, Cotto is a fragile fighter with a suspect chin. Clottey and Williams are bigger, more durable, and have better chins. Why the hell would Margo need to increase his power against a smaller guy who has shown that he has trouble taking a punch and then not load his gloves against guys who can take a punch? In fact, the Cotto fight was a huge fight in the fight capital of the world. You best believe there was ton of scrutiny involving any pre fight inspections; much more scrutiny than would take place in lower profile fights in Jersey or Cali(aka the Mexican capital of America). If anything, Margo whipped Cotto's ass straight up and cheated against Williams and Clottey, then tried to cheat against another durable fighter in the form of Mosley.

Reg, are you serious? Sorry, but I don't buy that, and I'm not even trying to disagree with you. I totally disagree with you. We can't assume that he used them against certain guys. Remember, Cotto beat Shane...so AM had every chance to use them against Cotto. Heck, he could've used them against any top WW.

 

You're missinterpreting my point. I don't know who he used them against, or if he even used them before. However, the guy I was responding to theorized that he used them against Cotto and not Williams or Clottey. However, if he was going to pick and chose who he used them against, it would make more sense to use them against Clottey and Williams and not Cotto.

 

Its highly unlikely that he could have used them in Nevada. They provide the gauze. However, if they weren't watched closely they very well may have just used another set of gauze.

That rules out (most likely) Sergio Martinez, Antonio Diaz, Andrew Lewis, Kermit Cintron I, or Miguel Cotto.

Come on Finito....What Margorito did was beyond file...I want to know if you would be singing this tune if Margorito was to kill somebody in the ring??...We as fans didnt make Margorito or his trainer load his gloves so we as the fans have every right to critize that piece of **** Margorito...The sport is already brutal...Some fighters already have been killed in the ring and some has had permanent health problems...THERE IS NO ROOM FOR WHAT Margorito and his team tried to do...Hell, that only increases the chances of someone dying in the ring by loading your gloves.

Oh, you caught that. It had me thinking afterwards as I was doing other things in the house. I have seen him write something to that effect before. If everyone else is doing it, why can't I.
