I'm not assuming that this is the first time. At the same time, it's wrong to assume that it isn't the first time. At this point we don't know. You can't go around discrediting all of his wins without any proof. If we're going to do that, then we must discredit all of Roy Jones' wins considering he tested positive for steroids. How do we know that was the only time? How do we know he hadn't been doing it for years? Do you see the slippery slope that exists when you make accusations without proof?

 

They are going to discredit him simply because they hate the man, Sure he needs to be locked up IMO for doing this **** with Mosley, I cant say if Margarito did this in other fights, but what I can say is the majority here, have reason to hate on Tony now, more than ever, However they hated him before this and even if he wasnt guilty they still would treat him as if he was so in reality its best they found Plaster Paris he would have gotten treated the same way regardless.

 

I do, but a **** test for steroids doesnt lie. It can't not pay attention. It can't turn its back. There is little room for human error.

I never thought very highly of Margarito anyways. So discrediting him isnt a priority of mine because he didnt have that much credit in my book anyways.

I have to agree with you. Bias, instead of a sense of what's right and wrong, seems to be what's motivating many of the responses in this thread.

 

Nallege, find me one post where I said that I think he loaded up for just one fight. If you're going to disagree with me, at least disagree with a point that I made instead of attacking a point that I never made.

 

Technically, he never got caught cheating. He got caught trying to cheat.

And if you want to get technical, he had already broken the rules. The bout didnt need to start in order for him to be cheating. The rules clearly outline what is allowed in the hand wraps, and he broke that rule.
