Should PBF come back and prove himself against bigger guys

If Floyd beats any two of these guys Pac, Cotto, Shane, Williams, or Margo...hes top 20, especially after the layoff. No doubt. Go to 160 and beat Kelly or Winky, I'll give him top 10!

 

Do you realize that this thread was startd by a person who claims that Floyd Mayweather needs to take on Kelly Pavlik to 'prove himself'? Uhuh......And for JMM to 'prove' himself he should challenge Klitschko right?? And for Chris John to crack the P4P list he should fight Tomasz Adamek?

First it's Floyd doesn't fight real welterweights, now it's Floyd hasn't moved up enough in his career. Which one is it? Moved up too much? Not moved up enough? Do people who spend the entire day trying to find new ways to hate Floyd Mayweather even think before they come up with this nonsense? Yeah Floyd might have cherrypicked a bit, and yeah he's an opportunist, plus he's got a big mouth - but christ, the things that are said about him and the amount of time people spend trying to figure out his relative worth are ridiculous! How I can be a 'hater' when I called him a 'great, great champion' at the lower weight classes is beyond me, but I give up. You're right, those great victories over Judah and Baldomir will live on in the annals of boxing history, right alongside Robinson v Lamotta and Ali v Frazier.

He beat the number 1 guy after Judah.

He then beat Hatton who held the title till he vacated and Cotto went on to win that same vacated title.

From what I recall Ricky Hatton won the WBA title from Collazo Baldimor only had the WBC title and the IBF was left in Judahs hands when Carlos failed to pay sanctioning fees.

So there was no undisputed welter weight champ to be honest with you, Floyd wasnt undisputed thats for damn sure.
