Roy is an extreme namedropper. He has bigtalked about fighting Lewis, Klitschko, Anderson Silva, Hopkins rematch, but it's always just namedropping to make himself look fearless. Unfortunately Jones is probably just doing his ol namedropping act here with Adamek and the fight will never come off. Adamek is a beast now and Jones and perhaps even a more difficult overall assignment than Calzaghe. Would love it if Jones proves me wrong and steps up to the plate with Adamek.
Wow. Roy was shot to bits socrates. Really, check out the way he fought Tito: no legs, no reflexes, no punch output. Roy is about 30% of what he once was, that's why Calzaghe decided to fight him, and that's why Calzaghe gets no credit for it.
Nope. I wouldn't give either Roy or Bernard much chance against Adamek. The only attraction for Adamek is $$$$$. He won't enhance his reputation in the least with a win overe either man at this stage. And, were he to slip up, he'd become an instant laughing stock. And given that Bernard wants an 88 - 12 split even though Adamek is the man at 200, Adamak should be looking elsewhere. Maybe a top ranked cruiser under 36 perhaps ?
Jack, you really need some therapy to get you over Bernard and Oscar and Shane et al. These boys are going to consume you if you keep this up. That said, it's more than time for another little scenario from GBP HQ. The theme could be Bernard's chagrin upon hearing that Adamak has spurned his offer and is now talking to the RJJ camp.
Jones Jnr is one of my all time favourite fighters. He was sublime and a freak of nature in his peak, an outstanding talent. But please Roy can u f**k off into the sunset and enjoy your money and life. Your career is over now.
