Pac has at least beaten 1-2 prime ATG's depending on how you see JMM...Floyd has beaten 0 prime ATG's. Castillo, Hatton & Corrales are HOF fighters.

What ele do you judge them on, personality? I mean in all honesty, the man in your avatar had nothing that Floyd Mayweather Jr. doesn't have. He was the self proclaimed "Greatest" based on his skill level that was above and beyond anyone in his weight class. He would beat anyone you put him up against, more often then not he'd do it with ease.

You could say the same thing about Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Skill, speed, stamina, heart, defense, effective offense, natural talent, intellegence... - In every single one of those catagories, Floyd Mayweather is at least top 3 in the world, in most cases number 1.

I hope you realize how many fights Sugar Ray Robinson had before his first loss. Not mentioning how old he was in many of his losses. Robinson's first loss was at welterweight(he was 40-0 at the time) to Jake Lamotta who was a middleweight and 16 pounds heavier. Your comparison to Pacquiao is ridiculous on so many levels that I would be here forever pointing them out.

Whats your point? SRR lost his fights past prime, fighting above his best weight or he was outgunned(lamotta), Pac lost his fights when he was green, fighting below his proper weight or simply outskilled(morales). They have their reasons for loosing, it aint the end of the world is my point.

HAHA..Other than the 1st round when did Hatton land on floyd?? It was rare, I can tell you that...Floyd would box circles around Pac..Pac would get killed if he tried to throw off balance with Floyd..Floyd isn't a slow counterpuncher like JMM..He has faster hands and footwork than Pac...He is bigger and faster than Pac..

Mayweather IS the best fighter of his generation but whether he DESERVES to be crowned as such is another matter, thats the real debate, not whether he actually WAS the best because there is no doubt he was/is.... at least not to me anyway.

As he moved through the weights, his opponents became weaker and weaker.

Where would you rank him as an ATG if he came back and beat Pac, Cotto and Williams?
