Due to a torso injury suffered in training, Steven Luevano has pulled out of his scheduled fight against Bernabe Concepcion which was slated to take place on the Hatton-Pac under card. Humberto Soto has been mentioned to take part in a possible replacement bout.

I was really looking forward to this fight. I hope whomever eventually is named as a replacement will be able to give Abe a stern test being that it will be such a big stage.

Man, I'm so sick of Luevano. That guy is so average... and painfully boring to watch..

Likewise. At this point whatever with Luevano.

That said we certainly need a big fight for Conception. Boxing can't afford to have a situation similar to Pac/DLH where their 3 undercard fights all flew by in about 5 minutes tops.

If they can't find a fight for Luevano, they might be wise to add on the Mike Alvarado 8 rounder on the cards.

Damn....I was really looking forward to this one. I think Concepcion would have knocked Luevano out in a good fight.

Concepcion's people need to look for a fighter other than Soto, they should stay away from him for now....

Soto-Concepcion is similar to Barrera-Pacman in 2004. Bring it on!

But I'm not optiimistic this will happen. Soto is already a SF champ. Bernabe is not yet a contender in SF. Why not Linares or Mares?

I must admit that Soto has all the advantages . . . experience, height and reach . . . but don't be so sure of a one way beating. :D

Concepcion has knocked out bigger opponents before and I've seen Soto being wobbled in the past . . . have you seen his fight against Valle? :yep

concepscion is going to get his ass kicked by Soto.

Would look good on either one's resume, win or lose.

Agree Sotto is similar to Barrera in the way that they both show controlled agression and Bernabe has amazing power but hes too young for an experienced fighter like Soto. Theres plenty of subs though: Mario Santiago, Solis, Rogers Mtagwa... I doubt Soto is the #1 choice.

doesn't make any sense, Soto is not coming down from 130, he is thinking about moving up. Fight was for Luevano's 126 belt?
