    Great thread, great video. Before the near-career ending plane crash, Willie Pep was utterly untouchable: 100+ wins, one loss. He was on another level, the greatest defensive fighter of all time.

    Agreed especially on BHOP I think his defence was underrated but at times his style led to some boring fight.

    True. although boring, very effective it gets him the win and you cant blame him for that.

    But i think PBF should be higher on the list.

    Ali was pretty damn good at defense.

    Larry Holmes was another guy who's defense is underated. Tony's slight roll of the shoulders was amazing to watch sometimes...........I mean he made Roy Jones miss a few in a row........not easy!

    Yes he was. In his prime during the 60's he was nearly untouchable. If I had to pick a best of all time it would be Pernell Whitaker.

    hopkins, maybe, but benny leonard most definitely belongs up there on any definitive list of the best defensive fighters of all time.

    Pretty good maybe add guys like Canto, Duran, Hopkins, other guys have as good defense by using their jab and footwork but that'd be pretty boring for a tribute like this.
