This does feel like another rising star caught in a trap, but somehow I can't see Winky pulling a boxing clinic on Williams. It's will be a close points fight, but Wright is likely to it. Williams relies too much on his natural size and reach advantages to carry him. A good boxing technician can take that apart.
I don't doubt Winky knows how to do this but I doubt he can implement it after 2 years with no tune up and probably dropping nearly 40 pounds for this fight because Winky always is 190 between fights and that's when he's active.
I don't care if I'm right or wrong. This is just how I see the fight going. If I'm wrong, then I'll be surprised and hopefully watching a good fight.
If you watch Winky's fight with Quartey especially, he was the aggressor all night, but due to either Winky's lack of power or Quartey's solid defense, Winky was unable to knock Quartey out. But Winky did manage to throw a variety of punches that while not devestating were faster than you would expect. He attempted the same strategy against Hopkins, but Hopkins took away his jab and Winky struggled to get his punches off. True about Margarito though. He definitely wasn't active enough.
And it still won't change the fact that your boy Margarito lost to Williams. Loaded gloves included :yep. But don't count on Winky winning.
That is a preview of the excuses. If Williams wins "winky was just a shell". If Williams loses"he wasn't **** anyway". It's a no win situation for Williams with some of you.

my general prediction is that williams throws a trillion punches, missing with most of them. winky will throw 40 fairly accurate shots a round, but lose a close dec. winky complains that he was robbed. look, i like the guy, but the dude cant get decisions he doesnt earn.
thats how i think it will be at times, but winky knows this.so it will be up to him to let the world know who won the fight.judges most importantly.
I am so certain Winky is gonna beat Williams. CERTAIN OF IT. I haven't felt this certain since the Pac-DLH fight. I made a thread of the Pac prediciton because I was so certain, you can find it if you want to too. Everyone thought I was crazy then. The smarter craftier fighter always wins in boxing, guys. Everytime, too.
