Boxrec has now changed all of Mundines title wins to "WBA Ordinary Super Middleweight title". i'm sure some of you will be pleased with this.

It is officially the regular belt dont know why BoxRec wants to call it Ordinary.

This should go without saying but its not just Mundine, anyone who ever held the WBA Regular belt in any division has had it changed as well.

They also made the Super Belts Super, heres Shane Mosleys record:

    http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=004952&cat=boxer

It says he fought Cotto for the ordinary belt and Margarito for the Super belt.

yeah i remember when the WBA elevated margarito to the super champ and gave him a "ring mag" style WBA belt with a gold red and white waste band, i think i seen it on a ESB pic a while ago

I've been chatting about and watching boxing with a mate of mine from work recently. Loves watching the fights, as would any sensible person. But like any sports fan, what makes any sport more interesting is the stuff behind what you see on screen.

Try explaining the way boxing belts and the ABCs work to someone who is an intelligent sportsfan and they will laugh in your face. "Really?"

Yeah unfortunately its true. This above all other things is totally ****ing boxing up.

Maybe the alphabet titles are Greek alphabet based???

None of them seem worth a single 'IOTA'..
