Who do you rate more highly: B-Hop, FMJ or Pac-Man?

Tarver wasn't exactly a brawler....I'd say he was an 'athletic' fighter, if not exactly a 'mover', but then Calzaghe and Taylor aren't 'movers' as such so instead of athletic it's 'Hopkins can't do that against someone with a Plan B'.

Well, seeing as the Calzaghe and Taylor losses were super close and disputed by many, I say it's arguable that he DOES do it againt them. Only, because they do more than the likes of Pavlik, they snatch the decision.

B-Hop's style is often stunted and non-action orientated when someone is throwing back He tries to nullify their strengths that way (and probably because he knows that at his age he can't keep up with them)

Give him someone slow and one dimensional and the guy is super impressive, making you doubt how Calzaghe and Taylor ever eked out decisions over him.

He should either fight Adamek and carry on with the end of his career (Valuev????) or fight Roy Jones in a mega-bucks super finale for both guys (kinda' the way I hope Marquez and Pac end their careers :good) and finally settle the score.

Roy is old, and the fight means **** all boxing wise. But Roy can cause Hopkins problems (he can put him in his shell where he is more clean and effective punch-wise but does little to sway the Judges, which Roy would have in abundance with his movement and flashes of genius) but I think B-Hop will want to fight Jones, and that is where I think he has more left in the tank.

He's fresh, hasn't really taken any 'beatings' whereas Roy has had up-and-down weight battles and two K.O's hanging over his head.

Hope Hopkins chooses the former and goes for Adamek.

At this point, I rate hop over Floyd. Floyd needs one big fight to take the top spot over hop imo. Pac also if he beats Floyd. hop has had wonderful career. He's rarely been hurt, and he is still winning. Imo he never lost to Taylor, and his resume is superb. There was a time when people questioned Hop's resume...not anymore lol.

I think Floyd, in terms of legacy, needs more than one big fight to take over B-Hop. Floyd is a few fights short of being a legend, IMO. While, Bernard is undoubtedly a legend at this point.

Hopkins, but Pacquiao has at least a few big fights left in him to possibly surpass BHop. I don't see Bernard adding much more to his resume now that the Adamek fight seems dead.

Hopkins in terms of achievement in his long career ... however, FMJ is a more skilled boxer and who knows what Pacquiao will go on to achieve the way he's going.

Bhop for now. PAC then Floyd.....though I think PAC is barely edging out Floyd at this point.

    Pac
    PBF
    Hopkins

Both PBF & Pac went up in weight to beat guys. Hopkins had guys from the lower weight go up to him and beat them. All the guys he beat went up in weight, Tito, ODLH, Winky & Pavlik. He faced top guys who was in his weight or above, Taylor, Jones & Calzaghe...and we all know what happened in those.

I feel that guys like PBF had he stayed at 140 and had fighters from 130-135 go up to fight him, he would have destroyed them alll...not outpoint, destroy. Same with Pac, staying at 126/130 and having the lieks of Vasquez & Rafael Marquez go up to him.

Having said that, the greatest fighter of this generation is between RJJ, Pac, PBF & Hopkins, its debatable and I wouldnt say any of them is a for sure answer.

Floyd deserves no credit. He still has not beaten a prime HOF fighter. Prime.
