    You're kidding.

Dawson - Already champ when he started training him
Delahoya - 4 world titles before Snr was even in the picture
Guzman - Is credited to be trained by Francisco Guzman, for a couple of fights he trained him? At most?
Hatton - Has trained him for 1 fight so far.

Floyd - Roger has been far more, FAR more responsible for Floyd's development than Floyd Snr. Roger deserves the most credit for Floyd!

    Snr is full of crap.

Yep, and also, you just don't understand what Roach has said until you hear Sr. respond back. Then you get what Roach just said lol...

You must be out of your goddamn mind. Senior taught him how to fight. Roger took over later.

yeah ok, and avoid the rest of my post

you can easily point out fighters like that about roach and any other trainer.

Roger is responsible for Floyds greatness? how come you dont see fighters rushing to hire roger if he did such a fantastic job with floyd jr? :patsch

Trainers often get too much credit for their fighters greatness.... Roach has even said before that trainers get too much credit, but you would never hear that from Floyd Sr. , he is as arrogant as they come.

PBF's greatness should be attributed more to PBF, not to Floyd Sr..

If Floyd Sr was so great with PBF, why hasn't he been able to make it work with any other fighter?

So do you guys credit Ali's coach in the amateurs for the reason he became the greatest and Dundee came in later?

Or Lennox Lewis' trainer prior to Steward?

Or the fact that Floyd himself in some of the more acrimonious moods interviewers have found him in, has readily credited Roger as having more of an impact on his training than his father?

Floyd Snr UNDENIABLY had a role in shaping Floyd, but to take credit for his career success like he was the architect of it all is as ridiculous as saying Roger had nothing to do with it.

I'd be interested to hear what Roger Mayweather thinks on the subject.

Floyd won his first world title with Floyd Snr sitting in the audience, not in the ring corner.

hmm says.. well yeah he got him started into boxing but a lot of critics believe and feel that his brother Roger Mayweather is the one that did the bulk of the work...Roger trained PBF while Mayweather Sr was in jail. It's also evident on how PBF got rid of his father and there is a family divide amongst the three in which PBF favors Roger Mayweather as his trainer the most.

I am not ducking a single thing - What amazing point do you have to make in your previous post that you keep coming back too?

I find it hilarious you have Roger for an avatar and are saying that it's really Snr that shaped Floyd.

I get what you're saying mate, but I really don't think it's relevant when Mayweather Snr is the guy bringing up how this is a battle of the best coach...Roach is merely defending himself in my view.

I think it's clearly apparent how much Manny has developed under Roach's tutelidge, I just haven't seen Floyd Snr do anywhere near that level of development in his own fighters.

hmm says.. might I add... When Pacquiao left to the U.S. to find a gym and promoter to accept him, Roach was the only one that saw potential in Pac. Pac had a great resume in Asia and started at the east coast and was virtually turned away by every gym he ran upon until he made it the west coast's Wild Card. I found out from a video documentary leading to the Morales III fight.
