Haye won't be able to deal with the clinch or the jab. Wlad will hook off of the jab leaving Haye tentative and guessing. Then, if he manages to get in, he gets tied up.

Once Haye is occupied by those shenanigans, Wlad will unleash some big right hands when he's not looking for it -- one might be all it takes. Fight over. Wlad KO 5 to 7 rounds.

If David hopes to have a chance, he's got to show Wladdy some lateral movement. Mr. Wlad does not like lateral movement. See what the overrated, unproven Calvin Brock was doing the first four rounds. He had Wladimir on the verge of having one of his losses of composure until Manny said let those hands go. Wlad did so when Brock was beginning to gas, but he stopped Brock, to his credit.

Look at the Sanders fight -- he used lateral movement. Even Ibragimov showed some effective lateral movement against him whenever he wasn't standing in front of him getting his jab slapped down. Iggy was just too small. If he wasn't having trouble reaching Wlad, that fight would have been a lot more interesting.

You need speed, power, and lateral movement to have shot at blasting Klitchko out. Otherwise you're left with the Brewster/Purritty blueprint, which is "follow Klitchko around eating punches like a heavy bag with eyes until Wladdy gets tired and bored of hitting you."

That won't work for Haye. I think Wlad will win by a mid rounds highlight reel KO.

Haye cannot deal with Wlads Power and speed. Wlad has superior ring generalship, he keeps the distance with the Jab and after some punishing rounds for Haye Wlad will ko Haye in round 6.

Haye´s chin is not able to take Wlads power. And Haye will not be able to catch Wlad.

    Go Wlad :happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy

Vlad's jab will be a huge problem for Haye, not to mention what will come after the jab.

Good analysis. This fight should be a good one as it is a complete clash of styles.

Very true. Steward is going to have Wlad very well prepared. If Haye used his speed into an "In and Out" boxing style with lateral movement and body punching, I would give him a great chance of beating Wlad.

Haye fights with his hands low though and comes forward looking to bang. Exciting as hell, but with Wladimir thats just suicide.

Wlad's jab is going to be the defining weapon in this fight, more so than any of his others. Haye's aggressiveness and speed is going to be negated by it. I expect him to have the reaction that many of Wlad's opponents have. They get hit with the jab, are surprised as hell as well as being visibly in pain, and are never able to establish n rhythm afterwards. After losing, they then comment on how they never realized that Wlad had fast hands, or that he was faster than they expected, and were thrown off by the jab.

gone to bed? man i just got back from the gym......

anyway, good analysis....you know there was a thread a few days ago about the Foreman Lyle fight....if this fight turned out to be something like that, multiple knockdowns and a definite conclusion, i think that would make the Heavyweight division more exciting...regardless of victor, there would be a rematch right after if not down the line

Wlad will win by KO, but I really hope Haye stays in the division to **** **** up and get more people interested in the sweet science, challenging for the title again later on down the line

The thing that I think that adds an element of surprise to the fight is that Wlad is hating Haye and VERY motivated to knock his block off.

Haye has obviously annoyed them and it will be interesting to see if Wlad puts his chin in harms way going that BIT too hard for the KO.

Haye CAN win this fight, I'm not picking him to do so, but it's certainly the more winnable fight of the two K brothers for him as Wlad's chin is not as sturdy as Vitali's

Very good analysis. Can't wait for this one, still three months of waiting almost. It's going to be a war and the winner will be W. Klitschko by a KO. Haye brings the much needed excitement to heavyweight division and shall have all the credit for that, but his talking and talking has gone so much over that he deserves to be punished.:D

Wlad will look great right up until Haye catches him flush, then it's anybodies game.

This is all bull****. When there was all that talk of Vitali fighting Haye people were speaking of Wlad as the easy one and how Haye was going after the tougher of the two. Now Haye could be fighting Wlad, suddenly Wlad is tough again and Haye doesn't stand a chance

    :huh

Haye will look great right up until Wlads jab lands at the 0:03 mark of the first round, and then its all downhill from there.
