"The way the terms of the contract are set up, Haye could be fighting someone with the last name of Klitschko until 2010. As stated last night, if Haye defeats Klitschko, he would be forced to have an immediate rematch with Wladimir or fight older brother Vitali Klitschko, the current WBC heavyweight champion. If Haye wins the second Klitschko encounter, the third fight would be a rematch with Wladimir [if Haye fights Vitali second] and/or a rematch with Vitali." [source boxing scene. Direct citation]

:rofl:nut:patsch Contracts like these are stupid should be forbidden.
Hey Klitschkos,..you really think you have enough rematch opportunities forced in? Or are you afraid that one extra (to a total of 4 rematch clauses) will make you look cowardish?

Contracts like that will make Haye huge money and he'd more than prove that he's at the top of the division if he went through them like that. If you get a contract like that feel free not to sign it. Haye did.

Instant fame, instant legacy, enough cash to let his kids retire.....not to mention unifying another title which everyone desires.....he sure is getting a shitty deal

Unless again a reliable source as in boxing scene has made two reports on that (the text is a direct citation of two independent newsposts with David Hayes comment confirming it. And I'm assuming Haye knows what he talks about,..dont you think so?) :yep

This contract is BS, The Klitschko's want to ensure that the titles stay in the family, honestly this contract makes me think that Wlad thinks that he won't be able to beat Haye, so he will try to ensure that the titles eaither stay with him or go to Vitali (which is stupid since Wlad and Vitali refuse to fight each other).

If Haye loses does it even matter? Haye has to win for any of that to happen.

It looks like Klitschko's are as cautious outside the ring as they are inside. Still, rematch clauses are not something new. What makes it a little strange would be including both brothers there... but on the other hand, Klitschko's are top fighters anyway, so if you win with one brother, another will be your mandatory anyway. Also, I do not think the contract says Haye can fight only Klitschko's. Although, considering his level of (in)activity and the gap between his promises and achievements, I would be surprised if he fights both of them by that time. Most probably he won't get past Wlad anyway.

business is business and confidence is confidence... 2 totally different things.... what everyone forgets..
1st.. its 2 options not 3. Rematch with Wlad then unification with Vitali

    2nd...Haye wanted Vitali also

3rd... this will be more cash then Haye will know what to do with....

    Haye beats Wlad $$$

Haye fights Wlad in rematch $$$$$$

Haye fights Vitali unification (prob the bigest fight of all 3)$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Not bad if you ask me

It would be much better for boxing if haye wins and fights vitali next instead of a wlad rematch.
