Twat: I watch it every night, my Dad has all sorts of old tapes.
Me: Who do you think is the best fighter of all time?
Twat: Sugar Ray Johnson without a doubt.
Me: Who?
Twat: Sugar Ray Johnson, you know the one who knocked out Ali, Tyson and De La Hoya?
Me: Never heard of him.
Twat: Who do you reckon would win? Prime Ali or Prime Mayweather?
Me: Different weight classes, would never ever work.

Some *** college student tries to tell me... "That's a jab!"
Lampley, Steward, Merchant all say "left straight."

Yea I was talking to some guy about the DLH Mayweather fight and hes like

"Yea Merryweather is good but I think Oscar will beat him"

i once heard after an amir khan fight some numpty ask someone whether he would have beaten mike tyson if they fought. Just the thought of khans head coming clean off within 5 seconds of the opening bell had me in fuking stiches

 

Think it was back in 2004, me and my friends were talking boxing, and one of the less educated friends of mine announced he thought Butterbean was the best boxer ever. Me and my other friends just shook our heads.

I kept going back and forth over Pac vs. Oscar, and she said from as soon as she heard about the fight that Oscar was in for a world of hurt.

She hates lengthy stoppages though. Dunne - Cordoba bothered her, and I had to explain that when a world title is on the line, you need a decisive conclusion...

 

While in Y-Town for the Pavlik fight, there were some dudes in the row behind me and I could go on forever with the **** I heard them saying. The one that really got me though was when they noticed RJJ sitting a couple rows if front of us, and one of them was informing his friends about how Roy had just had a fight with "some Mexican" that he said he believed his name was MargaritA, and starting trying to tell them about the glove scandal. Some unbelieveable **** when you get around even casual fans....I just kept thinkin' OMG how bad would these dudes get ate up on ESB!!

 

In 2007, my friend asked if Tyson was heavyweight champ. When I said he hadn't been for a while, he said Tyson must have never gotten over that loss to Butterball.

I was talking to this guy about the Gomez - Kitschko fight and hes like:

Dude,,, they don't play...

Or one time I was watching a few Golota fights in the family room, and my mom comes and shes like "Whos Golota playing?"

I think sometimes girls try to get too smart with their boxing talk. 99% of the time they don't give a **** but they're trying to be nice and spark conversation and make you think they actually care. (It took me 10 minutes to try and not make this sentence seem dirty)

I had a girl who made some of the most ridiculous comments about boxing ever. She was just trying to fit in. You do the same thing when you talk about soaps or what have you with them.
