True, but in some cases you actually were robbed. See, I had a 50:50 record, but I was robbed in all my losses. Even when I was stopped and was out on my feet, I was also robbed. In fact, i was losing on points before he stopped me, but I was being robbed in that part of the fight as well. Hell, the judges just dont like me as soon as they see me walk up the stairs and look into the faces of the crowd as I do the walk to the ring. They rob me every time my name is pronounced cause they say it wrong. They rob me of that good feeling. Criminals.
same with me although i honestly have had afew bad decisions about 3 i have lost afew clearly but i know when i have lost as i am my own worst critic and normally come back to my corner saying 'that was shite' then going back out and beating somebody up.
I always get that feeling. I imagine basically a super being dodging all my punches and throwing vicious combos I can barely see. So then I train as if my next fight is with superman or something
:good:goodbloody brilliant. one of my mates borrowed by boots to box in and got KO'd."i slipped" he said whilst throwing them at me.
Lol! I'm sure we've all heard some crazy excuses. On the other hand, if you're honest with yourself, you kind of know when you lose and when you really won, and you do get some horrible decisions. On the other hand, if you edged it, rather than dominated it, and it was in his home club and you lost, then you did lose, cause you obviously know before the fight that your going to have to get a wide margin.
yeah ,your right again.i got a decision on our own show and one of the blokes on the corner said" you were lucky there." i fought one lad 3 times with a 2-1 to me and the loss and 1 win were wrong and we both agreed.
agree with you i ahve had afew fights where most people thought i got it but i was fighting a home fighter and with my counterpunching style i lost it, thias wont happen again though as it motivated me to go out and grab a victory and boss the fight so everybody knows i win.
Yeah, that fear factor is a good motivator to make you train harder. http://www.amazon.com/Joe-Gans-Biography-American-Champion/dp/0786439947/ref=pd_bxgy_b_img_b
Haha hasnt crossed my mind yet as i aint had a fight but i know what ya mean. Think Positive and kick ass like innit?
oh yeh i never have fear in fact i dont even think i walk in hit my oppont and they fall over, dont have time to think negative lads
Wouldnt go that far, u still need to think like. Ya still need to think what your doing but i remember someone saying u need to be instinctive cos the moment u stop to think is the moment u get stopped....or something like that
