Man he looked like the goods in the CW division, had great movement of head, body, and feet....mixed with SICK power. He was on my radar to become one of my favorites, then he lost his "0" by KO none the less, and I haven't heard **** about him since. Anybody out there know what's up with him? Did he quit? Re-working his game? Got something scheduled I don't know about? One loss early in a career doesn't have to be a career killer, Haye is a perfect example. I hope he comes back and learned from what he did wrong and starts to make waves again...:yep:good
That's good to know. I just hate boxrec (for some damn reason, lol) but, I believe I will, to see what your telling me about. Thanks for the reply.:good
He's fighting the Cuban Yoan Hernandez as far as I'm aware. Crossroads fight for these "prospects", both have bad KO defeats, both have talent.
No hype really. I just happened to see a few of his fights and personally thought I really liked what I saw. Was quite disappointed he got KO'd and wondered if anybody knew what his plans were, that's all.
It's in Germany over 8 rounds...with Hernandez's promotion behind him he might be made slight favourite for this fight over a short distance. That said he has shaky whiskers, Williams could very well win by KO and that is surely his best (only?) chance.
thank you for this information, kind sir.:good Go Williams!!! Man he looked really good to me. I was in shock when he got KO'd, but **** happens, now it's time to get it back on track and do something!:yep
It seems like only a while ago he was highly rated. Williams vs Hernandez sounds like it could be a decent fight. I was very high on Hernandez until Wayne Braithewaite iced him. I still think he could still be a force in the CW division.
Williams was already 17-0-1, an 18 fight vet, before he got KTFO by Herrera. Sure he's still learning, bu that is hardly an "early career loss" by any standard. Flores showed how it's done again Herrera in their last fight.
I dont have a clue where Tavoris Cloud is right now. Last I heard he was the back up option to RJJ if he couldn't secure a RJJ vs Calzaghe fight. Since then his name was kicked around as potential opposition for Yoel Judah, Glen Johnson and Jeff Lacy. I haven't heard a peep since.
You are right, tffp! The chin is Hernandez' weak spot! On the other hand Aaron got knocked out in one of his last fights as well. Hernadez vs Aaron is a true crossroad fight!
