The reason cause the divsion is the worse it has been for decades and he dosne have fellow 'great' fighters to dispose off .It is ashame but it is how i would imagen he would be remeberd .
aye there the best at the moment,but i dont think there anywhere as good as previous heavyweight champions !they have managed to build on a poor division.
Both Klitschkos, Povetkin and Solis will mean he is at least remembered as the best post-Lewis. He's already said summat like he realised that he didn't need to be the best of all time, just the best of his era. good on him, I get a bit fed up of all this legacy crap.
who cares if he is considered great or not that is a debate for years in the future we should just thank for the guy for attempting to break up the eatern european hold on the heavyweight divison which has seen that divison become boring and mundane if he wins boxing wins as while these no good cheating germans control the divison the most exciting thing we can look forward to is the ringcard girls which at least german tv give u a 45secs of unlike sky and setanta! however the boxing is pathetic
I disagree. Wlad and Vitali are proving to be standouts of their era. So what if they have lost. Foreman lost to ****ing Young. Tyson lost to ****ing Douglas. Both are animals, both unavenged, both not considered when assessing them. In the scheme of things I could certainly see Vitalis losses being justified to a degree. Same with Wlad. The only unfortunate thing is they are each others rivals and won't fight. Both Vitali and Wlad will be future greats if they carry on down this route. To be great now, I think one of them needs to win. I hope Haye can be a somebody like Holyfield because then he makes it a 3 man divison. Hopefully someone else like Povetkin comes through and then you begin to develop a real era. If Vit and Wlad weren't brothers, they would be lined up to fight in a huge super heavyweight unification. Because they won't fight, we keep looking for the man who can topple both - I think that was Lewis. The man who beats both will be great in my eyes. Should Haye beat Wlad then Vit, I would consider him set to be a genuine all time great.
I think he can beat both of them. Vitali was awful the other night.... Before this I had considered him a potential ATG. Truth is he is waaaay past his best. A heavy with good ring craft and mobility will beat him very easily.
