Most irritating boxing pundits & commentators...

Why does anyone need a commentator...we know what we are watching. Let them do the intros and the post fight interview but leave it at that.

I think the good ones can give you opinions/ a point of view you might have missed but I agree the **** ones are pointless.

 

Whoever the guy is that does Setanta sometimes, often alone, an American dude - He's okay.

I think the dude was alright, although I only really remember him from the Haye/Mormeck fight as I don't get to see much Setanta unless radio stream.

 

Yeah, it was him for Haye-Mormeck. He never stops talking, just drones on and on.

Nearly all the American commentators have problems with "shuting the **** up!"; its as if they think its radio commentary they are doing.

However, I think they are more knowledgeable than the British ones and point out a good few things that I for one might have missed.

I don't mind Colonel Bob; he's alright: "This thing gets really exciting when they let the power shots go"

 

He does a good job on his own. It's a lot more difficult deciding how much to say alone, and not having anybody to bounce off.

Steve Bunce is annoying as he is anti anything European, i.e. Klitschkos and Abraham, etc. But i have warmed to his "style".

Ian Darke whilst one of our best commentators, is/was ****ing annoying when talking or commenting on Lennox Lewis. He spoke as though Lewis was near untouchable (which he was at times).

Plus Steve Holdsworth is shockingly bad.

 

Adam Smith i simply can't stand the man.Apart from the fact he knows sod all,he spends the whole fight just commenting on and praising the fighter who is supposed to be the star,while ignoring the good work of his opponent.Plus he keeps emphasising the word claaars.
