Thats maybe a smart move, to stop Eddie Hyland from taking part in a european title fight atm. The gulf in class may have been dangerous for him.:deal

is mccloskey gonna give up the british belt for this shot at witter? i think witter is very beatable.was terrible against bradley and hes only had 3 rounds with a poor quality fighter since

I think he will have to give up his title. He has a mandatory that he must honour by July.

Paddy, i didn't realise there was an Irish forum here before.
    What happened, Lack of interest?

    Painting's looking good:good

I'd love to see an Irish Boxing forum, I thought it was a good idea until Paddy told me they had one before and it got closed down. I'd like to know what happened though before i suggest anything.

Just ask Cormac next time he's on, he'd be the one to know. I suppose I just have, though.

I think Paddy is refering to the forum on Irish boxing .com. There has never been a Irish boxing forum on eastside boxing. A Irish boxing forum on here could tap into the all the other nationalities on this forum. It would do a lot better than the Australian forum.

Thanks Paddy, when i re-read the post i sussed what you were saying.
That's a shame about the other Forum, but tell me what make's you unsure of an Irish Forum here?

I was thinking again about it and i suppose we could be getting carried away in the euphoria sweeping Irish Boxing right now but what about a few years down the line, Does Ireland have the Talent coming through to sustain it?
