Liston, Foreman, Shavers, and maybe Marciano and Lewis all had more 1 punch power then Tyson when they put it all into one shot

I notice when a lot of fans around here talk about Tyson they need to put the word "Prime" in front of his name. When was Tyson in his prime? Age 20? Did he get old at 25?

Difficult to say,he certainly stopped a lot of fighters but there are a lot of contenders for the title hardest puncher.Mike is in the top 5 i would think.

Pure raw power? I don't think so. I'd venture to say Foreman or even Shavers.

    Louis
    Forman
    Lewis
    Shavers
    Klitschko
    Tyson
    Frazier
    Morrison
    Peter
    Dempsey
    Liston
    Rudduck
    Marciano
    Cooney
    Rahman
    Tua

All these guys hit roughly the same IMO. Any one of them has 1 punch KO's to their credit.

You're splitting hairs though, who's to say Lennox's KO of Rahman was better or worse than Forman's KO of Moorer? Who hs more actual power? Impossible to tell.

You can determine that a single punch from Tyson is more powerful than one from Wlad, Peter, Haye, etc.? I'm not buying it.

He is one of the better heavyweight punchers I've ever seen in terms of variety and combinations but raw power wise I doubt it. Foreman probably is and the guy threw sloppy, arm punches.

Forman was a bit sloppy when he was younger, he threw more correctly during his 2nd career IMO.
