I want to get excited about the Taylor/Froch fight but Carl is a bit of an unknown to me. Can anyone fill me in what I can expect him to bring into the ring? I've seen a few clips here and there and know he's undefeated, but that's about it. Any knowledgeable assessments are welcome. Thanks.
He's tough but never really been tested at world level with the exception maybe of Pascal. He punches hard, has a cast iron chin and likes to go toe to toe. It should be a great fight. Honestly, I dont think the majority of Brits know how he will fair by stepping up in class to fight Taylor. He also has a HUGE chip on his shoulder about Calzaghe not fighting him. Froch is desparate for recognition and getting a fan base outside of his native Nottingham. He likes to shout his mouth off about how good he is and how everyone ducks him, so the fight with Taylor is really a case of put up or shut up. If he loses he will get hammered by the Brits however if he wins he acheives something which he is desparate for .... respect.
He punches hard, he's got a granite chin, a lot of heart, good stamina, picks his punches pretty well he has a very strong right hand and a great right uppercut, also he has shown, such as against Pascal, he can control a fight with his long jab. The fight will probably be pretty similar to Pavlik-Taylor, though I seriously doubt Jermain will have Carl on the canvas at anytime.
Froch has taken from huge punches flush and never been done, never flustered not even once. He had a rib injury against Pascal, and therefore wasn't committing fully to his punches, and found it difficult to get them off and land flush. I don't even know why I bother debating with you, your a joke. Btw, your list of 40 fighters better than the Klitschko's was laughable. Librado ****ing Andrade for **** sake? :rofl
Nice comparaison. Pascal fought 3 times in 3 months and was injured against Pittman. Froch is a good fighter.
The fight I saw him in he fought like ****. The man telegraphs his punches from a mile away and is not too fast. He is quite aggressive and presses the action but I don't know if that will work well at the top level.
Most people on here would regard me as a Klitschko hater, but if Andrade was a 220lber, both guys would easily decision him. He's limited, all he has is a good chin and good power. And his resume is awful. He's beaten nobody, nobody at all. Yusaf Mack is probably his best win for **** sake.
He's not the most convincing young fighter nor is he my type of fighter, but for some reason, I like him... I watched his fights with pascal, rybacki, reid, and magee fight yesterday and he's exciting. He fights with conviction. Taylor is in some deep **** imo.
Stop doing the hypothetical match-up ****. P4P lists are based on resume and achievement. The Klitschko's have achieved far more than Librado ****ing Andrade. This guy hasn't even been a world champion. They would pick holes in Andrade's defence, yeah the non-existent one, all night. And Yusaf Mack had Andrade on the canvas, hell there's probably no reason why Wlad couldn't have him down with his laser right hand and Andrade's open defence. Even if he didn't, he'd easily decision him, easily.
Won a World Amateur champs Bronze so not as unskilled as the ignorants believe. Not the quickest though - I reckon thats his biggest weakness.
:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl I suggest you go and look back at your thread and see the amount of people that laugh at you there. Are you seriously questioning Wladimir Klitschko's power?
