Watcha mean, papa? From Wilfredo Gomez, Benitez, Rosario, to the young HEctor Camacho, ive always loved the Boricua fighters.. Juanma is cool but it's some of his nuthuggers that gets on my nerves sometimes.. Few guys on here really overrate him by claiming he would destroy Izzy and MArquez.. That's really jumping the gun imo.
canchila....but that wasn't nobodies fault, the ref didnt hear the bell....plus, the ref gave canchila 2 HUGE !!! breaks before the stoppage....that fight could've been stopped in the first round, and again in the 3rd :good
it's weird to them cause puerto ricans will never show mexicans some love.......:yep me myself, i'm a huge cotto fan...and juanma is growing on me too, that little ****er is badass !!!
Good to here. I'm fine myself cheers. Yeah I just reckon JuanMa will have too much for him. He seems to hit insanely hard, I thought De Leon had a very good chin and JuanMa just shattered it. Not to mention he has the skills and speed to back it up. I've never seen JuanMa get hit hard, but aslong as he can take a decent punch, and can go 12 rounds comfortably, he could be a superstar.
I haven't seen the whole fight, I just thought that was plain poor time-keeping/refereeing whatever you wanna call it, whoever was at fault, somebody certainly was. I heard that Canchila was getting battered anyway and probably would of been stopped, but it's still not right that he got battered like that after the bell, it was like Funeka v Raheem were one-punch came slightly after the bell and put him out, it was a sustained beating after the bell. What's the huge breaks your talking about anyway? You mean he was hurt and then the ref intervened and made an excuse to give him time to recover or something?
funny you mention that, cause the baddest man on the planet (cotto) is in that pic and he aint even considered a real champ....
Yea I hear that bro...I give JuanMa a great shot to beat them, but by no means does he "destroy" them.
Ah right, cheers, just saw somebody bring him up earlier in the thread, fought they ment he was a Puerto Rican world champion.
