Duke Mckenzie by far, its not even close. I swear he says 'John' every three words even when John Rawling isn't working alongside him.
I don't think I've ever heard him say anything interesting or insightful.

Richie Woodhall is excellent, if only he can subdue his 'believe you me' speil. We believe you Richie, thats why we're listening.

Bunce is the man. You get his opinion, and very often its an interesting one.

Ian Darke has lost a yard but he remains the best lead commentator in my view. There is something reassuring about having him in the booth for a big fight, you know he won't make a mess of it.

Glenn Mccrory I can take or leave. It used to irritate me just how much he agreed with Darke, until I realised I agree with DArke a lot too!

Col Bob isn't bad. He's another in the Bunce mould who will tell the truth even if it makes him look bad. In the Haye Mormeck fight he admitted he'd hardly seen Haye and kept referring to him as 'this guy'. Hardly professional but kind of refreshing.

One thing we know about Gay is that sooner or later one of the boxers he manhandles is going to take exception and drop him....I want to be around when that happens:good

Using "huge head" , "strange voice" and "BBC" in google as search criteria really does kick up some strange results:deal

I 100% disagree - Bunce is Mr Setanta boxing. The Bunce boxing hour is a far superior programme than The Ringside magazine programme previously on Sky. I like the way he interacts with the viewers, very similar to radio phone-in formats. I don't think Setanta need Dempsey (another good broadcaster) with Bunce on board

    But that's the problem.

He IS so ****ing superior and smug and if anyone dares to disagree with him he just drowns them out with his droning, boorish loud mouthed crap.

I prefer the old fashioned (in the Reggie / Harry mould) Ian Darke, who is professional and respectful.

Also Jim Watt, who reads a fight pretty well(with some notable exceptions in the past.)

    Barry McGuigan.
    Great fighter.
    Lousy commentator.
    Lovely guy though.

Darke's a good commentator but always says something like "this is what the Americans call....." or "this is what is known in the trade as....."
