I'd pick Cotto because of his ability to mix up to body and head equally as well. He's arguably the best body puncher in boxing, great left hook to the body, his jab is under-rated aswell, good right hand, he seems to have everything and he can mix it all up with variety.

Dawson is very good offensively though. I'd agree when he doubles up on the jab it is very, very good.

A "legend" you say. Did he achieve that exalted status by ducking a mandatory which would have given him the biggest paycheck he had ever earned? More money than his own promoter was willing to pay!

First off Adrian Diaconu wanted the fight to happen in Romania, and second he vacated the belt so he could fight Tarver and gain more recognition, please don't be so simple minded.

What better fighters are these your talking about ? Must be a different Chad Dawson who got put on his ass by Harding and taken life and death with Glen Johnson.

    Okay and what's your point?

Calzaghe went life and death with Robin Reid and got put on his ass by Byron Mitchell and the extremely shot Roy Jones.

Cotto... yes I agree. He mixes it up so well, and throws to the body to open up opportunities to go to the head and visa versa. Its hard to find a part of his offense that is flawed.

Perhaps morons like you ought to quit revising history. The match went to a purse bid which Dawson's promoter lost. It was only then that Dawson ducked his mandatory and a paycheck bigger than his own promoter was willing to pay. Tarver had nothing to do with it.

Chad is an exciting fighter to watch....especially considering the calibre of fighters now.
He reminds me of Michael Spinks and Yaqui Lopez with his combos.

I like his style and attitude.....

Perhaps ***gots like you should realize that Dawson is not going to go to Romania of all places to go and fight Dianconu of all people, he would have to kill the man just to get a draw over there most likely. But it still does'nt take away from the fact that he wanted a Tarver fight more because he would get more recognition and would'nt get screwed over by his opponents hometown judges.

This may be the dumbest reply on a thread that I have seen in a long time..What does any of this have to do with the nature of the thread???

Secondly the fact that your picking Tarver to win the rematch means that Dawson should get some major props from you for winning....RIGHT:roll:
