Maybe if he spent less time complaining and more time on being focused to win.... Seriously bro, I have no idea how you or any reasonable individual could score that fight for Holt. He was being outworked for most of the fight, plain and simple. I gave him the 1st, the 10th, and the 12th. A few of my friends also gave him the 9th. That's 4 rounds, at best. Bradley was the clear winner.
And there were several rounds where Bradley wasn't landing any clean effective punches. Holt was the effective counter puncher tonight. It's obvious the judges preferred the ineffective aggressiveness of Bradley though. Bradley had his moments to the Body, but that was it. Holt scored two KD's, had much better work upstairs, and his jab was also better. So, in terms of punching, Kendall was more effective 3-1. Where was Bradley's jab? Where were Bradley's head shots? People criticize Holt for not being active enough well I criticize him for not landing enough. Bradley did not land enough to win this fight.
Holt seemed classy in defeat. I think he knew he lost. You could kind of tell by the look on his face that he was kind of hoping the 2nd knockdown may have pushed him over the edge. The problem was, he seemed content on doing little to nothing throughout most of the contest.
He did. I'm not trying to knock him or anything, and everytime there was a foul I noticed the fighters touched gloves like gentlemen, but it looked to me like there were a few shots where Kendall had Bradley's nuts square in his sights when he pulled the trigger, whereas the headbutts looked more like Bradley, a shorter fighter, trying to move inside to work on the body, where he was having his best success.
I just meant that he didn't make the types of excuses like this guy who thinks Holt won is making. :good
Outworked how??? By just coming forward throwing ineffective shots that weren't landing???? Where was Bradley's jab? Where were his head shots? He did good bodywork for some of the fight, that's it. You say Holt was being outworked but punches not landed are just that. Holt was doing enough clean power punching and jabbing to nullify the supposed Bradley onslaught.
Holt scored TWO KD's. Holt had the better jab Holt was the more effective puncher Holt landed the better power shots.
