How absolutely unbelievable would it be if Lennox saw a flaw in Vitali and came back?

It was a no contest . if the fight was on the street and one person was cut bad yet still was able to continue , but some one watching the fight stopped it and said that it was over . us watching the fight would admit that there was no winner . so predict what you will but it was a close fight , meaning it could have gone either way . your reckoning means nothing . I don t know to many other boxing matches that have a non conclusion like this one . I reckon there should have been a rematch. but not now its been too long .

rumor has it it's never too late.

Lewis vs. Vitali II would be one of the biggest HWT events in history. If the two fighters want it, everyone else should. see what happens.

In the 6th round Vitali was hurt, breathing heavily and was the one initiating all the clinches. I feel Lewis would have stopped him within the next couple of rounds had the fight continued.

Plus why do some people make out that the cuts on Vitali's face were some sort of mysterious anomaly that came from nowhere, the cuts were caused by the punishment he was taking from Lewis.

You guys are absolutely insane. FOR THE LAST TIME, LEWIS WAS almost 38 WHEN HE FOUGHT VITALI AND still HE BEAT HIM, I REPEAT, HE BEAT HIM. HE IS NOW almost 44 AND YOU IDIOTS STILL CAN'T GET OVER IT BECAUSE YOUR GUY "ALMOST" WON. Get over it. Lewis is not stupid enough to get back in the ring, not because he's scared of Vitali or anybody else but because he is retired, like he should be. He's not going to run around like Holyfield and embarrass himself or the sport. Respect the man's legacy and move on because Vitali would have never won that fight or any other fight with Lewis. Part of me wishes that fight would have continued just so Lewis could beat his face in even worse than it was. To this day, I have never seen cuts on a boxers face that bad and the ref STILL gave Vitali a few more rounds to do something but it was only getting worse thats why he stopped it. Then Vitali, who was just bone tired, runs around like an ass beating his chest proclaiming victory and trying to make Lewis say he would rematch him. Thats not class, thats an ass. So to all you Klit fans, get over it, your guy will NEVER be as good as Lewis and Lewis will never get back into the ring.

A lil' too late. In FANTASY boxing yes it would be sweet!
But in reality the best bet would be to bank on Haye & hope Lennox can
give him the advice on the "Flaw" he found.

what the hell are you talking about? This situation is nothing like the circumstances that surrounded Leonard vs. Hearns II.

No reason to come back. Vitali's face told the story.

Vitali was winning the fight and imo would have done if it had carried on.

Having said that Lewis retired at the time because imo he knew Vitali may have beaten him in the rematch that he promised to Vitali. Lewis was correct to get out when he did.

Couldn't have put it better myself.
And this Lewis that was about to get ko'd. Is this the same Lewis that walked through everything Vitali threw and kept moving forward? Took the best Vitali had to throw and was continually pressing?

Was a great fight marred only by Vitali's childish behaviour at the end.
