Adamek looked sweet last night. After seeming somewhat troubled by Banks' hand speed, it didn't take long for him to figure Banks out and force the action. I actually think Banks had the tools to do a bit better, but he seemed discouraged by Adamek's power by the time the 3rd round rolled around. Good win!
It was amazing...I forget the round...5 maybe? When TA finally showed that he was going to take this fight over...he went visciously to the body & immediately to the head & the whole momentum swung right then & there. I was a little nervous at 1st. Banks is a big dude. WEhat do you think about Adamek @ HW??? Personally, I'm not crazy about the idea. Will you be saying someday "Adamek will inevitably school Chagaev?":think
Yeah, he was throwing a nice double hook to the head and body. I gave Banks the 2nd round, and actually thought Adamek started taking over in the 3rd--except for a big punch Banks landed in the 4th, which made me give him that round as well. Honestly, I think Adamek is probably too small for heavyweight. I really think he's be better off if he entered the ring at 192 now as it is. I think cruiserweight is his ceiling. Honestly, I hope not! I want to see Adamek stay put. He might be able to rule this division for a few years. :good
