I think it's obvious he does!:rasta All the ******* votes will probably corrupt the poll though!:dead
He showed great hand speed when finishing his last opponent, but Manny Pacquiao's is proven against more mobile opponents.
Valero's punches are like looping, two handed heavy clubs bludgeoning you to death. Pac's punches are like quick, two handed wooden kali sticks whipping at you and smacking you all over the place.
Those fights were in the past, not the current Pac-Man at the higher weight. They don't give that many angles anyway. Just average mobility.
More mobility than Pitaula, and both better offensively and defensively than the 40 year old veteran. Antonio Margarito looked to have impressive hand speed whilst working the heavy bag. Overriding point, Manny Pacquiao's speed is more proven, whereas Valero certainly has speed of his own.
I dont really care if Valero's very fast or very slow, or if he punches textbook or punches ugly. He seems entertaining enough as a fighter, win (or in the future) lose. You definitely wont see a 12 round snoozefest when he fights. But he's still not one of my favorites. Maybe he'll change my mind in the future. One thing I like about him though, is him wearing the Venezuelan colors on his trunks. It makes it look that he's not just fighting for himself, he's also proudly representing his homeland. It's always a nice touch.
I hate to say this, but I have never seen Valero fight. For some reason, I am busy doing something whenever he fights. I can't wait to see him fight. What a record that guy has. Wow!
