I like Miguel Cotto, but as much as his fans will say he is vindicated, the loss to Antonio Margarito happened as a result of function, which was his opponent's resilience and determination. He does not deserve a spot among the top 10 fighters in the world, and Mosley's destruction over Antonio vindicates that, I believe. Just my opinion Israel Vasquez has been a lot more consistent than Darchinyan, and has beaten better fighters than Ivan Calderon. He is too low on your list. I don't feel Cotto, who was just destroyed by a fighter who was also just destroyed, should be listed among the best in the game. Obviously, another big win can catapult him up there right away, but as of now, I feel there are other fighters who either have more momentum, have beat better fighters, or have been winning on a more consistent basis lately. Not a big deal, just my view. Shame you're so dismissive.
Adamek not high enough, Linares too high, Donaire too high, trade Williams for JuanMa and you've got a half-decent list.

Mosley is way too high, one big win (over an exposed cheat) does not catapult him back to top 5 p4p. Hes just outside the top 5. Cotto is a great fighter, but he dosent belong in the top 10 IMO. WHO HAS HE BEAT? He had a very good win over mosley. but other than that his record dosent indicate top 5 p4p for me. I dont think ricky or Juan or top 10 p4p either. David haye should be ranked muchhh higher aswell. Other then kirkland at 35 atsch ( seriously omitting world champs like sergey but putting in james) your list seems pretty good to me :thumbsup
Well, someone has to say it... uh... Valero? Can't possibly be above that many guys that have fought top 10's in their division. But you probably already know that.
And to the chap that said Cotto shouldn't be in there, his resume is deep as ****....Mosley allowed to be just outisde the top five, but Cotto, who has a win over him, as well as wins over Torres, Corley, Judah, Jennings rofl) and who has always fought decent opposition (Randall Bailey in his 20th fight for example) and will now be fighting another ABC belt holder Clottey, who is held in high regard by some. The boxing masterclass he was putting on against Marg shows he has P4P skills, and in light of the recent evidence found on Margo shows he has P4P toughness too :good
Cotto is a very good fighter, but he is still unproven. Other then mosley he has not yet fought a top opponent(barring the marg fight). You can't count the judah win since had lost to carlos baldomir and mayweather right before the fights. Hes pretty much shot. Also torres is a good win, but nothing to warrent top pound for pound status, same with paulie mag. Cotto is defintly hovering around 9-12 range though. But that is only because of the mosley win. Remember, he has NEVER properly become a champion, he has only won vacant titles (never unifying titles either). So cotto has never even been the real champ of his division....... Do you really think that warrents top 5 p4p???
