Khan Vs Katsidis

Would I like to see it?

Hell Yeah! a really exciting match-up.

I don't think Frank would make the fight though; a hard-punching swarmer with bags of stamina is a bad style for Khan. Saying that, Katsidis is vulnerable to a punch himself.

 

I think it would be quite an easy fight for Khan using his speed and movement... until Katsidis lands one. And it's hard to imagine going 10 or 12 rounds without being caught by at least one. Soon as he Katsidis clips him, it'll be like Prescott all over again. I think it's just a question of will it be sooner or later in the fight?

 

Khan is way too quick but Katsidis will always have that punchers chance.

 

Would be a thrilling fight prob way 2 risky though

 

How have you guys forgotten about Khan's chin already....

Hell yeah, I'd love to see it. I'd make Katsidis a stron favourite to win.

 

Katsidis would win in the first round. The first right hand Khan takes will leave him on ***** St..

Luckily for Khan, his chin is so bad, he won't get badly hurt.

 

Khan's fast foot work, and improved defence Katsidis will have a big task in finding a clean shot on Khan. Khan would counter him with fast combos in out working that jab. Gameplans is something which a top trainers like Roach sets out to his fighters, Khan having a weak chin, Roach will have him on the move waiting to take Kats in to laters rounds when Kats slows down and then maybe go in for the kill. MAB did land a few wild shots on Khan and he took them.

From an Australian point of view.... bring it on. Most of the guys Kats has faught over the last 3 years have been faster than him. Khan is no different.

This will be a fantastic match up if it happens. Obviously the best match up since Tszyu/Hatton regarding Brit/Aust interest. We haven't recovered since Hatton punished Tszyu and would like some revenge. Even the cricket looks less than standard.

Will have a few $$ in favour of Hatton come fight time with Pac.

He might have fought guys fast, but none nearly as fast as Khan. I think khan could pick him off at ease, if he gets hit though then well, we all know.

 

Nonsense. Barrera found khan 3 times with 1 eye. Khan would be on the back foot for the whole of the fight back foot = less power and less room to work in.
Khan cant fight on the inside and was hurt to head and body by Gomez Katsides would KO kahn and as for Katsides slowing down late on i dont think you have seen him fight much and Katsides has proved he can go 12 rounds Amir hasnt.
I want to see Amir do well but he isnt ready for world class fighters yet. Your forgetting Katsides was giving Casomayor hell and had put him down before getting stopped himself.
it would be a good fight to watch while it lasted but i couldnt see it going more than 4/5 rounds and Khans career would be almost over

 

Khan has gone 12 rounds btw. If Katsidis can get dropped badly by Earl, Khan can hurt him.

 

I love statements like these because they are generally made with absolutely no sense of irony at all. :thumbsup

You are spot on about Kat being one step too far for Khan at this moment in time.
