Kendal: "I am a little disappointed" Gary Shawtime Network reporter chic: "Yeah how does this factor in to the big picture of your life as far as other disappointments you've had?" Kendal: "put it on a long list of disappointments, add it to the list" this isn't an uncommon question but usually its phrased differently, maybe you have to watch it to see what I mean. Usually they ask how does this victory stack up with all your others, or how will this loss effect you but she kills me with big picture of your life
yeah i agree,,rather awkward question,,,but i am not surprised as the commentators spent most of the second half of the fight talking about "real estate" ??@?@?@?/ i mean what the hell were they cackling on about?? i know that being english perhaps something was lost in translation,,but if i wanted to hear about "real estate" then i would be watching property programmes. did anybody else get this???
I think they meant in terms of all the bad things that have happened in his life outside of the ring, which is why the question was worded that way. Holt's lived a very hard life. Not quite Edison Miranda or Fernando Angulo hard, but pretty hard nontheless.
I actually thought the Lightweight Lightning team did a pretty good job for the most part, other than that they were all over Jesus Chavez's nuts even though it was obvious he was going down in flames. Better than the HBO commentators on an average night.
the look on Holts face when she asked that was priceless though! If it had been a guy I think he would have hit him!
They're basically getting at an element of ring generalship - who's controlling more "territory" in the ring.
I agree. They were good, so much for needing time to gel with each other. I also thought that the Latin Fury 8 team did a good job as well. Can't remember if i've ever heard a gal do boxing comentary but Maureen wasn't bad.
