Outclass don't mean anything if he get's caught, Tho I agree on paper if Berto can maintain & use his attributes it should be a wrap for him.

Umm, this could be a real interesting fight.

One thing I worry about with Berto here is he really just likes to stand there and not concede any ground. That can be dangerous against somebody like Urango who is crude but powerful, he's easy to avoid if you utilize footwork but I don't know if Berto will. I think he'll feel as the natural welter he'll stand his ground or try to backup Urango which is a mistake.

I think a lot comes down to who can take each others power. If Urango can simply walk through Berto, which I'm not sure about as Berto punches harder than Hatton and certainly Ngoudjo...he can get Berto to the body and he doesn't like it. If Berto can take Urango's shots he'll outbox him easily and stop him late.

THis isn't that interesting a fight for me. Ricky Hatton out boxed Urango for the better part of there fight. I'd imagine Berto is going to do the same. And with his size advantages it will only be that much easier for him. Basically the only thing I see this fight as testing is "is berto a complete morron or can he change up his game a bit when changing up his game will make it an easy night?".

Urango and Berto are both very limited, but I'll go with Berto since he has fast hands and is the bigger guy.

Urango is hype and limited and crude. He will be given a boxing lesson by Berto and I for one can't wait to see it. As long as you can stand up to his attack he's an easy win.

Urango's power won't carry up. He's wide open and Berto will counter and beat him to the punch at will. Urango next to Miranda is the most crude boxer in the game.:deal

Urango by KO, eventually. Berto should be able to outbox the pants off of Urango, but he has a little too much macho in him, and he gets drawn into brawls when he really shouldn't. We all know Berto has a shaky chin, and Urango not only has huge power but puts his entire force behind almost all of his punches. Berto's never really shown the ability to stay focused and fight smart for a full 12 rounds, and thus I think he'll get knocked out in the mid to late rounds.

To answer an earlier question, if Urango wins, he'll stay at 147. If he loses, he goes back to 140 and defends that belt against Bailey.

:rofl:lol: Berto is strong as hell and will likely come in on fight night 160 or more. Urango is the smaller man and moving up in weight he will be in for a rude awakening.

Of course he will, but the question is whether that will actually stop Urango from coming forward, and whether Berto can stay focused enough not to get caught with a huge wide punch that he doesn't see. I don't see any reason why Urango's power won't carry up though. He's a bigger puncher at 140 than most guys are at 147. Even if he doesn't get stronger, he won't get less strong, and if he builds up properly, he could get much stronger, as he has skinny ass chicken legs.

Urango's improved a lot since he faced Hatton though. His offense isn't much different, but his defense is much better than it was.

On paper....however, I still think that Urango has brute strength that will give Berto problems. Berto in my opinion is overlooking Urango.

Berto is the bigger stronger man who has fought as high as 160.
I can't believe so many are buying this hype.:patsch Urango isn't good he gets by against guys who can't stand up to his attack. Anyone with good boxing skills and can stand up to his attack beats his ass it's easy to see. This fight is one of the easiest fights to pick. You have a guy coming up in weight against a bigger man who relies on his power and strength and is limited and crude against a guy who is at 147 already an at home who has faster hands better skills. Easy fight to pick Berto by wide UD:deal

Urango is going to knock Berto out. Its going to be ugly...Berto will be flopping all over the place like Judah did vs Tzyu

Berto is to quick for Urango and will win an easy UD...Urango is a slugger but a slow one and speed kills...
