Maybe the other lads were pulling your plums but I genuinely have heard something about a world title shot for an Irish lad in the not too distant future. It's not completly shocking or anything but that said its not the most obvious.

I'm not 100% sure it will come through though. When I had my arm twisted about the Dunne fight I knew for a fact (baring injury) that a world title shot was being made.

This time I don't have the same degree of certainty

Surely the rumours of the world fight cant be a prank because paddy was talking about it on the grind and said he may reveal something shortly , i for one cant wait.
Btw congratulations on 500 pages. lads. I think we should keep this instead of making a irish forum ,as someone said people would get spread very thinly . This is the first place i come when i want info on anything irish boxing related and i dont think ive every been left uninformed.

You may be right, When i was thinking Irish forum i was envisioning Threads on Duddy, Threads on Dunne, Threads on all manner of Irish Boxing but Like Suge was saying it may be too thinly spread. I hadn't thought about that when i mentioned the idea. This is probably the best thread on ESB along with the stunningly beautiful women express.

Like yourself it's the first one i check out when i log on. so as for myself I'm putting the Irish Forum idea on the back burner and I'll have another think about lobbying for one at a later date.

If anybody else liked the idea, there is a suggestion forum where you can ask for stuff but I'm going to let it lie for a while, until the need becomes so great that there is just no choice but to have one.

oh in other news Henry Coyle will be back fighting in ireland this summer! not sure it that news it out there already or if he even said it on the show!

look at the european forum.... if you guys are serious about getting an irish forum and think it would work then the best course of action would be to set up camp in the euro forum (theres no much activity in there anyway)
Im sure if the euro forum turned green then the mods arms could be twisted into creating an irish boxing forum. Personally I dont think an irish forum would work as theres not enough of us to keep it ticking over.

This thread is brilliant were the envy of Poland, Cuba and Canada (they all have theyre own threads, the polish one is older than ours!) I feel this is enough, for the time being.......

 

Is henry out before his irish fight? I would like to see him again and see if he has made improvments.
