yea back in the 90s fighters were too stupid to figure something like that out so tito kept knocking them out. also, i dont think there were any fighters as good as williams because i cant think of anyone that could go 12 with margo or ko quintana from back in the 90s.
Even if Margarito did use loaded gloves against Williams .. Tito still is WAY faster and hits WAY more harder than Margarito.
WOW I am surprised that almost no one is giving PW a chance basically.... My vote goes to Tito by KO inside 10.
Maybe maybe not. Williams isn't a pushover and would pose some problems for Tito with his size, southpaw stance and workrate. This fight IMO isn't a blow out like some here make it out to be Tito might win a decision but it won't be easy.
Come on now Pimp,You and me know that Margarito is NOT P4P bigger puncher then Tito not even with ''plaster'' on.:deal As for Williams ''SOUTHPAW SATANCE'' or size ...no matter what style he has or would use that wont mean NOTHING when you get hit plenty enough so that wont be a problem for Tito, But yeah it would have been an exciting fight .. whlie it last:smoke
Tito doesn't even need a ''ONE SHOT'' or needs a Hearns type of poweratsch Like i said Willams get's hit a bit to much and you wont last long getting hit that much with a ''PRIME TITO'' to add up Tito had also STOPPED fighter to the body i see Williams getting hurt there aswell.
I can see Tito by way or KO. His counter punching skills are pretty underrated here. He times and catches P Will around 8-9.
Tito was the Champ for a whlie there beat guy's like Campas who was undefeated by that time not to mention DLH in ONE of the biggest fight's at WW at that time and plenty of others... now Williams just beat Margarito and what else has Williams done besdies getting his ass kick aganist a Cotto left over .. And yeah he blast him in the rematch but doesn't change the FACT he got whoop so besides been 1-1 aganist Carlos Quni what has Williams done at WW?
That volume punching style williams used against margarito would never work against Tito. Tito made you respect his power. Or you payed dearly for that disrespect. I think Williams would be wise to stay on the outside and try to box tito, because if he got reckless he would have gotten knocked the **** out.
What a joke??? Can you say what was in Tito's handwraping that gave him any advantage???? Because all they were able to say was that his use of the tape was controversial. Tito lost the fights he lost for one simple reason: HE DOESN'T HAVE THE BODY TO FIGHT AT OVER 154LBS. His frame is too skinny. Just look at his legs. Plus he was throwing half the punches he did at 147lbs. DelaHoya crashed against the same wall against BHOP. They were both tall but didn't have the frame.
Im a big paul williams fan but he wouldnt win this imo. To beat Tito you have to shut down his offense and Williams doesnt have a good enough defense to achieve this from what ive seen. The fight would be competitve though can seetito winning by close ud or possible late stoppage on accomulation.
:| No joke, Ricky. Make yourself aware of the facts before you judge. Tito was forced by officials at the BHop fight to change his wrapping. And his dad said he had ALWAYS wrapped that way. In other words, his dad said that Tito had always wrapped his hands in a way that NY state Boxing commission said was illegal. Therefore, it is legitimate to ask how he might have performed without that advantage. Here are some extracts from an earlier article on this topic.
